Shillong's first taste of the world's most passionate fandoms — and The Co.Lab Experience made sure it delivered. Kyjai Fest was a two-day celebration of pop culture and anime that brought the Northeast its own premier convention experience, complete with international cosplayers flying in from Thailand and Japan.
Every element was designed to honour the culture authentically — from the programming and stage to the spatial flow that gave cosplayers, collectors, and fans a world to inhabit, not just attend. Seeing international talent share a stage and a floor with the Northeast's own growing cosplay and pop culture community was exactly the kind of moment the festival was built for.
Two days. Two countries represented on the floor. One Northeast premiere that proved Shillong is ready for the world — and the world is ready for Shillong.
